  • We are so excited to stock this gorgeous new yarn from this fabulous new brand that's focused on colour psychology in yarn, as well as ethical production, fair trade and organic standards.

Skinny Andean Wool is a single spun yarn made of 100% Peruvian Highland Wool from a natural crossbreed between Merino and Corriedale sheep grazing in the Andes 2500-5000m above sea level.

All of the colours are dyed on naturally white wool, so they are especially clear and defined.

It holds its shape well, and it perfect for DK patterns or patterns which call for a thinner yarn with a silk mohair on a 4 - 5.5mm needle, since it has its own natural woollen "halo".

We really like it on it's own on a 3.75mm - 4mm needle too.

Produced at a family owned spinning mill in Peru which is Fair Trade certified, ensuring good working conditions for everyone creating this yarn. All dyeing follows European regulations regarding toxic free dyes and environmental concerns.

KAOS YARN colours are inspired by human nature and our personal strengths. Explore your colourful nature!

We stock all the colours because we couldn't leave any of them behind - they are all so amazing! In fact, it's probably the most exciting palette we've ever seen. We cannot wait to see the combinations you come up with!
