Artus is a rich tapestry of texture and colour. The mosaic border is easy to work, allowing for creative colour combinations that consistently produce fantastic results.

Your Kit Includes:
• Yarn: 5 different colourways. We have calculated the right amount of yarn for your special kits. The kit images show the order of yarns from left to right: A, B, C, D, E. (We have created some graphics to help you to visualise the result, but cannot guarantee their accuracy.)
• Optional PDF Pattern (delivered via Ravelry to your inbox.
You don't have to have a Ravelry account, but if you do, and you want us to add the pattern to your library, please include your Rav name in the notes with your order.)
You will also need:
• Needle A: 100 cm / 40” (or longer) circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed. Suggested needle size: 3.5 mm / US #4 (for the Waffle Pattern sections)
• Needle B: 100 cm / 40” (or longer) circular needle. Suggested needle size: 3.75 mm / US #5 (for the stranded and mosaic color-work sections)
• Stitch markers
CONSTRUCTION
Artus is a triangular shawl that is worked top-down from the center out, starting with a classic Garter Tab Cast On. The shawl features narrow bands of 1x1 color created using the stranded technique. The eye-catching border of the shawl is worked using the mosaic technique, holding only one strand of yarn on every row.

Wingspan approx 175 cm / 69”.
Depth approx 70 cm / 27.5”.
GAUGE
Measured after blocking.
Waffle Pattern: 22 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on Needle A.
Mosaic Colorwork: 22 sts x 60 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on Needle B.
